Return Policies:

At J.F.Oakes, our customers come first and our goal is to provide you with the very best quality products to make your tasks simple, efficient and effective. We hope you’ll find our product(s) to be just what you need.  However if it is not and you wish to return it, we will be glad to assist you.  All returns require an approved authorization form to accompany the return shipment back to us in order to receive a credit or refund.

 

Return Policy-  Pheromone, Lure, Attractant, Repellent type products:

Because of the sensitive nature of pheromones, attractants, lures and repellents, we cannot accept returns 30 days after the ship date from our warehouse.  The ship date can be found on the invoice or packing slip that accompanied your order.  Product returned for credit or refund must not be damaged, altered, or used. It must be returned in its original packaging.   Prior to returning product, you must contact us to receive a return authorization form. Upon approval, we will email, fax or mail the return authorization form to you.  This form must accompany the return shipment, clearly & securely attached to the outside of the shipping box. Shipments that do not have this form attached to the outside of the carton may be refused.  All shipping charges incurred from the return will be the responsibility of the customer.   There is a 20% restocking fee on returns.   Please note and keep the return tracking number(s) until your account is credited.

 

Return Policy-  Tools & Equipment:

Products may be returned within 30 days from the date the product shipped from our warehouse to you, provided the product is not damaged, altered or has not been used.

Returns –Private labeled and customized products:

At this time, we are unable to accept returns for customized or private-labeled products, except in cases of manufacturing or material defects.  Please contact our Customer Service at 1-800-844-9296 for more information.

 

Returns – International Customers:

If returns are shipped to us from outside the U.S. or its Territories, any taxes, duties, custom fees or shipping charges incurred from the return will be the responsibility of the customer.

 

Getting Credit:

We’ll do everything we can to take care of your return and credit quickly. Refunds will be credited to your initial form of payment, in the amount of the purchase price plus any applicable taxes, less any re-stocking fees.

 

 

 

Warranty:

J.F.Oakes Sales & Marketing, LLC warrants our products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from date of purchase. This, however, is not a guarantee against normal wear and tear. Nor does it apply to product that has been damaged by misuse, neglect, accident, modification or unauthorized repair.

If you believe your product is defective, please call customer service at 1-662-746-7276 or email us at sales@jfoakes.com and we will assist you in addressing any warranty issues. If, upon inspection, we determine that the product is defective, we reserve the right to replace the product or issue you a credit, depending on the nature of the defect.  Our liability is limited to replacement or credit, not to exceed the purchase price.

 

 

Warranty Guidelines for Spray Hoses & return procedures for warranty evaluation:

  1. The use of re-useable fittings is not recommended and will void hose warranty.
  2. The use of hydraulic, crimped fittings is not recommended and will void hose warranty.

Shipping charges for warranty evaluation will be the responsibility of the customer. Spray hoses determined to be under warranty will be replaced and shipped to the customer, freight prepaid. Spray hoses found to not be under warranty will be returned to the customer, freight collect. Once you have contacted our customer service and have received a return authorization form, please follow these guides lines to return spray hose for evaluation:

  1. Do not send the complete roll of hose unless otherwise requested by customer service.
  2. Send a 2 foot section from the nozzle end with fitting attached, regardless of type of fitting. We will return fittings as requested.  Failure to do this will result in voiding any warranty available.
  3. If the hose is wicking/delaminating/bubbling from the hose reel end or from the spray end, a two-foot sample of the spray hose is required, with fitting included.
  4. Damaged hose: allow for 1 foot on each side of the damaged area of the hose, along with the above spray hose samples, (2) (3, if applicable).
  5. Hose samples must be drained and free of any chemicals before returning to our warehouse.

 

 

Warranty Guidelines for Carbide Drill Bits & return procedures for warranty evaluation:

Drill bits with 50% or more wear will not be warrantied.  Reference “Wear Table” below.

Drill bits must be returned in whole; if drill bit is broken, all pieces of the drill bit must be returned.

Contact our customer service to obtain a return authorization form to accompany drill bits for warranty evaluation. Shipping charges for warranty evaluation will be the responsibility of the customer.

 

Drill bit Wear Table:

If the body of the drill bit flute is worn in excess of the amount shown on the Wear Table below, the drill bit is out of warranty and considered worn-out.  The amount of wear is determined by subtracting the diameter at #1 (measured behind the tip) and the diameter at #2 (measured at the top of the drill bit).  The difference will indicate wear life.  If the difference is greater than the standards as outlined in the table, the bit is out of warranty.
