Tobacco Insects

There are two main insects that cause heavy losses to tobacco after it is harvested from the fields: Cigarette Beetles (Lasioderma serricorne) and Tobacco Moth, also known as Cocoa, Warehouse & Chocolate Moth (Ephestia elutella). These insects infest tobacco curing barns, tobacco drying plants, tobacco re-drying plants, tobacco fields, warehouses, cigarette factories, tobacco stores.
