Tobacco Moth
Scientific Name: {Ephestia elutella}
Ephestia elutella, most commonly called the tobacco moth in the US, it is known in other parts of the world as the warehouse cocoa moth or chocolate moth. The tobacco moth is a serious pest in tobacco curing barns, tobacco drying plants, tobacco fields, tobacco warehouses and the chocolate industry. The female can lay as many as 270 eggs.
