Raisin Moth

Scientific Name: Cadra figulilella (originally Ephestia figulilella)
Raisin Moth, Cadra figulilella, earns its name from feeding on raisins and grapes when in the larval stage. They are around 1 cm long and are a brown/grey colour. The female lays on average 170 eggs and does this 3-4 times a year. The damage made is similar to that of the leaf roller moth.
